My professional network employed at large advisory firms are hurting; their services and costs are no longer palatable to the current market, and good people are being let go. However, ironically, there is a need within organisations for external support as we are in uncharted times.


There is a rise of microservices from experienced professionals who have been displaced by COVID.


I am seeing the rise of the Temporary Executive Contractor. An experienced professional who can mentor or coach employees to outcomes, not just advisory analysis.


The market will probably accelerate to a greater percentage of gig economy workers forecasted sooner than expected.
