There are some overwhelming rationales for this;

additionally for many employees the thought of an external party ”helping their organisation” transform is not genuinely welcomed. Employees may say it is, but they don’t mean it, passive resistance is rife
people in organisations want their work to have meaning. They seek to be part of something positive for the community as a whole. Any change effort must link to a greater cause.
The culmination of these factors leads to the need for a transition within.
